you said that you wanted to see me during the weekends but always did not have the chance.

i sound so cruel to you, someone who treated and regarded me with importance.
i think i have disappointed you alr & with the fact that we wont see each other again, it

if you know me well enough, you will know that i am not so fond of fries but i am in love with potato wedges.
however, wedges are not sold everywhere and they are always expensive but i satisfy my crave for wedges ytd at NEX's Lenas !

went over to NEX for shopping with mum
NEX is really huge. the shopping was alright. but when it comes to what to have for dinner, it was such a headache! there were so many options! so many restaurants!
after much deliberations, we finally settled at Lenas
i like the ambience!
& i was really spoilt for choice
they have salad, sandwich, pizza, pasta, rice, hotplate, fondue, icecream pizza, dessert
many many things!

had quite a delightful dinner even though the taste of the food was just acceptable. i think the mai xiang of the food is nice & thats why it made the overall dining experience good. hahah

okay. sunday was spent shopping again at town with ys.
gong cha was nice. thanks to ys. & the good thing is there was no queue
so orchard central -> somerset 313 -> cineleisure-> taka-> wisma -> ion

bought stuff again. lol.
so for the next few weeks, no more shopping okay, penny lee. :DD

okay, i received my alevel results on the 04 march 2011, which was ytd.
the whole process was not very fun
the wait is agonising. & you know, when i went out of the house gg to yj, i was so worried.

i dont know what will happen, and i was preparing myself for the worst but at the same time hoping deep down in my heart that it will be fine.

& i feel the olevel experience has taught me well
it made me realise sometimes, some grades will fall below what you have been aiming & working for
& your grades may not be the most satisfactory

so, when i saw the result slip, i am contented alr laaaa.
hahaha

i am overjoyed with my physics yea.
mr goh ahhh, i hope u are happy with this! hahahaa
general paper is another one that made me happy and contented

i want and love it to be a B but dont dare to even dream of it
aiming for a C you know
& then surprise surprise for alevels! hahaha

& i have to thank someone for this
he is the one who helped me with my gp. really, i know more things abt the world because of you

seeing the gums get cut and stitching it back is an eye opener.

i feel he is very pro-NUS

i went back for CVD ytd, tgt with daryl and chuping after my work
happy to meet the 2 guys after so long
both look good with their botak head! :DD

i enjoyed the visit to yj yea
because i see teachers and my friends there
happy to see 206 ppl and took the photo above
happy to catch up with each other, updating each other about what we have been doing since the start of holiday

other than that, i enjoyed jiaowei-ing around with the teachers etc plus UNCLE JACKSON (:
bought a $10 coupon to show my small bit of support. lol
and i used the coupon to buy a box of egg tarts from the council ppl and coconut drink from one of the stall
the egg tart turned out nice ehh :DD

alright, & i find the most common sentence that teachers said ytd was ' see you on friday'
intially i was still thinking, what friday? what is happening on friday?

it was after sometime later then i realised, they meant result day
okay, results are really coming out soon

& i also realised something recently
when things gets urgent, or you dont have much time to think of what you can do or ponder too much, the reaction or decision you make at that moment tells yourself alot about your true character

because what you did comes naturally and instantly
i experienced twice this week
i was pretty amazed by my own reaction. hahaaa

cny was alright.
steamboat was very very nice, the prawns are finally up to my expectation

chu yi could have been better if i had stayed longer at paternal grandma grandpa house
chu er, went for movie. SHAOLIN IS A NICE MOVIE AHH!

and also chu er, went to shimin's house.

it was fun indeed
the cny mood is totally there as there were many ppl and the good thing was that all yj-ican were all in a room, gambling etc

chu san was nth much alr, went ikea to eat, where my bro drove us there

with cny more or less over (even though cny has 15 days)
the rest of it were spent working
to tell the truth, i had never imagined myself getting such a job b4 or after alevels

cant believe i witnessed implant treatment, teeth extraction, widsom tooth surgery, root canal treatment etc
cant believe i help others take x-ray also

i like my job. and i like the location too
even though i dont like the rest of the mall. lol

however, cost of living has been high
in the past i dont feel it because i spent my money in the canteen
my allowance was only to cover my lunch
and lunch in school canteen is really cheap

now, i dont take allowance from my parents and i have been using my salary
money fly out really fast, as i have to pay for all my 3 meals and travelling fee
these sums up to quite alot of money

i am not complaining
but i finally feel that cost of living is high
no wonder singapore's birthrate is so low

anw, aston has become my fav restaurant

CHINESE NEW YEAR EVE!

so, i dont have work today
and work resume on mon :D

anw, sometimes, work can get quite stress & pressurising
esp when you dont know what the doctor wants
and when he say what he needs alr, you need to fix it and give it to him asap
cant afford to be slow

i am trying my best to help out
hope to improve as the days goes by yea :D

anw, i was watching youtube just now
came across this epsiode of 康熙來了
it was aired in 2008, but i did not watched it then and thus i watched it just now

the reason i click on it is because i saw 何維健
and also, 潘嘉麗黃靖倫 and two others which are not from singapore

the look of weijian was like how he was in project superstar, when i was very supportive of him
and really hope he will succeed because i feel that he is very sincere and his singing is very touching.

however, this feeling died down in recent years
but now i feel it rekindled
ahahs

the 5 singers in the show were all new and they compete with a song each
& let university students vote for the best

i was so glad that he weijian won laaaaaa tgt with panjiali
it felt like how i supported him in project superstar which was really long ago

& i think he got the talent & still very sincere
however, i dont like his 2011 look

friday today and i went shopping :D
went to square2 as i heard quite a fair bit about the mall recently
overall not a very nice place for shopping
velocity was better

accompanied my mum to eat at ahwang
i dont like the noodles but decided to just go with it
and after eating that, bloated to the max

plus bought quite a few stuff today
one thing to be happy is that i am financing my own shopping!

anw, i read some comments somewhere and i find the comment really childish
and it reflects how childish the person is
simply did not think more before posting it
and i rmb this person pissed me off totally 2 years ago

i wish i can share it openly here and type out the whole story.

after 2 years, it seems that this person has yet to grow up

it make me recall the painful period i had to put through

not a very good memory but a good experience i guess

Round Up for 2010

last day of 2010,

an overall recap of the year

when the thought of giving 2010 an overall recap, the first thing that came to my mind was

ALEVELS.

i cant help it, and then the mind went blank for a while as i cant think of any other things to post

to tell the truth, 2010 was all about A levels.

went through the journey with 206

staying back for asp, racing against time as we have to handle revisions and tutorials

went through time trail, getting disappointed when the marks are not good

worry about the grades, worry about the fact the exam is competitive

the fact that prelim is in august and alevels in november

all of these were in my mind not long ago

and i cant wait for 29nov to arrive, as it will mark the end of the journey

the day i will welcome holidays with open arms!

hahhaa

of course, even though majority of my 2010 is about alevels, there are other things as well

for example the CVD, where i was in the committee and help out with the patroning, taking a walkie talkie walking around, lucky draw person -in -charge and also the selling of the coupons etc

& i guess the last school activity that i had that was non-academic related will be

PRE-U SEMINAR!

something i was very reluctant to go at first as i was afraid of the workload and i dont think i am that vocal and articulative

but i still went in the end after talking to my vice-principal

lol

it was a right decision to go.

i was given good opportunities that i sometimes doubt whether i will be able to make it

i was the media spokeperson of YJ and my RP group15's leader

the media spokeperson position gave me the chance to talk to our PM Lee Hsien Loong

& i really managed to ask him a question!

hahha

the picture of the talking session with PM tgt with the other JC's students was even posted in The Straits Times!

i am lucky lucky damn lucky

& my mum got happy and shock when she see half of my face in the picture

lol

everything went on & the holiday arrived

did not search for job right after the end of alevels as i have the intention to slack and chill after

the long fight

started looking for jobs a few days after prom

& finally landed myself in New Age Comestic Dentists as a dental assistant

i am happy to have this job

& i just got my first pay today! :DDDDDDDDDDD

in addition, i assisted in a wisdom tooth surgery today as well!

i witnessed the surgery man!

this is such a rare opportunity

of course 'assist' is a nice word to put it because most of the time i was plaining watching.

my more experienced colleague was the one who really assist

hahha

but i did the washing etc okay(:

i am happy that Dr Chan gave me the chance to go in and see

he even explain to me what he was doing and why he has to do it after the surgery

i feel like i am at a work attachment or something

lol

alright, after looking back, i feel that 2010 was a busy year

things got packed tgt and time was very precious

it was quite a tough and stressful year, but i expected this as it is my alevel year mah

haha

2011 ahead!

anw, off day today so i am here to do some updates
woke up for arsenal vs chelsea match at 4am ytd!
first half was a bit boring and the only adrenaline rush was the nasri's freekick.

but was really delighted to see song score for arsenal and having the scoreline of 1-0 at half time
second half was great :D
csec and theo were the goal scorers

3-1 is a good and convincing scoreline
it is an important victory for arsenal! (:

soccer aside, work has been okay
i feel very interested with the implanting of tooth
and like to see the dentist do the impression thing
he look very experienced and well-trained when he mix the powder and water to form the clay-like thing

so many ppl pay by visa man
plus, came across the card - american express or amex for the first time

workplace!

life has been good.
found a job!! had my 2nd day of work today
work has been fun
other than taking phone calls for appointments and enquiries,
i also get to go into the room to observe the dental treatments to patients
but of course i am not of much help during the treatment.

but after treatment, it is quite a new thing to me as i have to use the dunnoe what paper to wipe the equipments, and the table
change the metal plates and finally wash up the stuff etc

everything is very new to me
saw how x-ray was done
plus today i got to hold the suction tube to suck away water and saliva
hahahaa

fun but if it is w/o cathy, then really cmi
i am still not very familiar

anw, after first day of work, went j8 for dinner and movie with black neighbour!
lol
we had dinner all the way from 7 plus to 9!
talk and talk, laugh mad and gone crazy
we decided to eat extremely slow as our movie starts at 9.20

hello stranger is a very nice movie!
thai show which may not seem as appealling as other movies like tron and narnia,
it will give you a massive suprise!

it is really worth watching, no regrets watching it
it is 2hours, but i enjoyed the 2 hours totally
it is funny and a bit of romance

plus, I had the movie for free! as tingmin has free GV tickets
hahahaha

chalet was fun! (:

actually i find the chit-chatting session the best,
is like everybody share something, talking randomly, with ben and some adding in jokes to make it fun

and i am impressed that ys, cedrick brother!, thamhin and also myself can talk from 4 plus all the way to 7.
talking randomly from topics like sleeping, to dreaming to studies to how life has been like in the past were great

feels that 206 is very bonded(:
i seriously hope there will be an annual meet-up so that 206 can remain as bonded as it is now
i wish 206 can be like my brother's JC class, having annual christmas celebration and catching up with each other
they have been doing it for 7 years!
can 206 achieve this? hahaa

other than the chalet, went for the usual stuff
nex is not fun for shopping!
i find it sucks pretty much. lol

anw, the past few days have been good ^^
went ngee ann city with shimin to look for jobs and go went to tangs to see what can i buy with the $30 voucher.
i also went for swimming!
inital thought was not to go, but the sun is so bright and tempting that i went for it
the last time i swam is around 2 years ago, after my olevels

i am really excited when i got into the familiar pool at yck
and feel nervous went i start to swim because i am afraid i have forgetten how to swim freestyle. hahaa
but i am glad it went out fine (:

nice swim but of course, not as good as in the past alr
need to go for more to improve to past's standard! (:

not to forget, i watched arsenal's champion league match at 3.45am yesterday!
very great.

i like it when they score and i love it more when many players are involved in the assist
i like to see them hugging/congratulating each other for the goal
i feel heartened. lol

prom was overall great.
Hitlon ballroom is nice, food was ok, everyone look smart

but it was a bit tiring to prepare for prom
im kinda not penny as im with make-up and all.

if i were to put make-up every time i go out, then is gonna be so tiring,
and so expensive and i think i am too lazy to do that

29 nov 2010 has arrived
the day that marks the end of alevels for all PCME students.

yes, its the end already
this examination has been a concern for the past 2 years.
no doubt every student in jc is worried about this final national exam

it was really quite a tough journey.
i think it was not just a test of knowledge, but a test of composure and willpower
sound a bit exaggerating, but i really felt so.

even if you have the knowlegde but you lack the composure, lack the ability to overcome the nervousness and negative thoughts, then really you cant perform at the optimal.
the desire to perform well do backfire at times.

composure is really so important.
and i guess i lost it at times.

and why did i say willpower
because with back to back papers, day after day, esp the 1st week
it was something like, no matter how disatisfied you are with the previous paper, you cant dwell on it for long for time is running out and a better way to use the time is to push those upsetting thoughts behind and move on to study for the next paper.

i find this hard. thats why i dislike checking answers after the paper.
if you realise your ans is wrong, then it really affects the mood.

with everything said, i am glad this thing is over.
is a long time since i last watched an arsenal match. i miss it so much.
is a long time since i lay on the sofa to watch tv
and i had not been gg out with my family for dinner and such.

i chose to isolate myself for the past few weeks or months or whatever. lol
no life as many say. i agree i did not had a life for quite a while.

now is the time to get a life.
and do what i like.

what i dont like in the past is that whenever i take a break to catch a few glimpse of hk drama that my mum is watching or to use the com to fb for a while, i will look at the clock now and then to ensure i dont spend too much time on such leisure activites.

now, i will just watch and do what i want to do with no holding back. lol

8/10/10 JC2 Graduation

it may be cliche to say time flies, but this is so true.

today's ceremony was great, where 206 sit tgt for the last time as a class in the audi,
i will rmb it.
with photos taken to be kept as memories.

the 2 years were hectic and packed
JC1- we get stressed over PW. and this is really a huge form of stress
and then comes jc2, where a even greater hurdle is in front, where you cant just aim for a pass,
where you cant aim to just brush thru it

the days in YJ wouldnt be as great if i am not in 206
206 is wonderful
well-balanced, funny, and all.

im lucky to be in this class,
and of course, the 5 ppl who play significant role in my JC days
- priscilla han, ang yingshan, heng shimin & qu chuping.

everything has come to an end,
but i hope the friendship forged will continue (:

it may be a joyous occasion that we have graduated,
but alevel is not over yet!

finished organic chem test today as well.

it has been really long since i lasted played a frisbee game.
and is still enjoyable

back from pre-u seminar (:

not a bad experience.
not as bad as i thought it would be.

in fact is quite a nice memory to keep.
met new people from all different schools
group 15 was fun and nice to be with

parallel presentation was quite good too.
esp the qns and ans section, very interesting

saw different types of character, and hated some but appreciate some.
i esp look up to those from elite schools, but remains humble, fun and out-going.
and will not look down on anyone.

these people are great.

hostel was not bad.
slept well for all the nights but court shoe was the killer.
is such a pain to wear it.
& i dont like the food sold there.
and i did not eat apples for the entire week which is really bad as i eat apples everyday when im at home and school . lol

took quite alot of pictures as well.
waiting for them to be uploaded & i will upload mine soon

the week was like omg.

today marks the end of term one but there isnt much to cheer about since nth is over.
block test after march holiday
prelim in august and alevel is coming so soon.

teachers have been stressing time and again that we need to work hard and that

very happy for those who went up on stage.
& listening to them getting so many As, really admire them and adore their results.

i like chinese new year really.
i like the festive mood before cny.
i like the buying craze i see where ever i go.

i like to see the red red deco at shopping centres
and all the cny goodies sold at the supermarket.

i like the feeling of 'cny is coming and i get a break from school'

i dont know why i seems to adore this cny alot.
i think is really quite meaningful, to meet with relatives,

really, i was so angry so angry at these people.
i cant believe people who they themselves are in the wrong can be so high and mighty,
and she can actually speak with such lousy attitdue and super high volume.

zero sense of guilt or what not

and all i hear is 'la' , 'lor' behind those sentences

just simply a ' i dont know' or ' we really dont know ma' and ' what you want me to do?' seems to be sufficient to brush everything away.
and this person speaks like i am at fault.

is simply tremendous and amazing.
to speak in this kind of manner.

is just trash, really.

but the world is not jus filled with these kind of people.
there are people who are really kind.
be it asking me to jiayou in my studies, offering me help or lending stuff to me.

last day of 2009
a recap of 2009

looking back, i dont think the begining of this year was good.
was upset over this and that, regret on decisions made.
regret on not being firm enough, not speaking up and this actually carried on for quite some time.

but eventually, I think i come to terms with it alr.
and then was JC work. esp PW.
this thing made me really upset for quite a number of times.

but then again, all of these are over!
and the year really got better after sometime.

the later part of the year was better. having lessons with SG06 were really great.
XLB outings were fun.
and it just got better.

esp this month. i really enjoyed the first 2 weeks of this month, as the first week, i had work attachment, and then i went japan.

you wont know how happy i am to be able to go japan.
japan is one of the country i really wanna visit, follow by hongkong.
and i tot i will only be able to do that when i am much older.
im just so happy that i went there and met so awesome people.

so the overall impression of 2009 is that it gets better and better.
hahahahs

i hope 2010 will be a good year :DDDDD

i have been wanting to blog for the past few days but i only manage to do it today.

i just wanna comment that i had an awesome day on 26/12/09 with mum!
lol

mum asked me to accompany her to do shopping in the late afternoon that day.
thus, i went with her and suggest that we shall go to orchard's OG.
because OG is my mum's favourite.

but den, when we reach somerset mrt, i was shocked to see a mall right after we get out of the station. thus, i went in to explore and realise it is the new shopping mall 313.

and i totally like this new mall
my 1st impression of it is superb. lol
and thus, we spend quite alot of time exploring this new mall instead of OG and we bought
awesome stuff that make me really HAPPPY!
im sure mum is satisfied with her new clothes as well :DD

hahaha
afterwhich, i went over to orchard central to have dinner.
i brought mum to botejyu as i really feel like eating jap food!
some more the display food outside the restaurant looked so awesome!

even my mum wants to go in asap after looking at the display. hahah

overall, BOTEJYU IS WONDERFULLLL.
i like it man.
but not the rice.
the rice taste very 'singapore'

but i like it hell much.
im sure gg back there to have more jap food!

i just realised how time flies. today is 23 dec alrr.
tmr is christmas eve! but im not at all excited like the previous years.
i suppose the reason is because i really had enough fun this holiday that i dont
have the intention to celebrate christmas. lol

this year-end holiday has really been packed so far.
after promo exam, i had chi alevel to prepare plus pw's oral presentation
and then i had extra lessons plus talks + phys quest + chem olym

when it is official that we dont have to attend sch, i had work attachement.
i also went for the standard chartered run 2009 as a volunteer.
then right after the end of my work attachment, i went for japan school trip.

now that im back, i have to play my part to plan YJ's CVD.
and give attention to my school work since 2010 is the deciding year, my alevel year.

many things to do.
but i hope everything goes fine and i will welcome 2010 with open arms (:

JAPAN!

i love japan! but i think i love singapore more. haha
i seriously dont know where should i blog from.
it was a 9 days trip.
& it was very awesome.

esp the homestay.
clara and i was being hosted by a couple.
who are both 70 plus years old.

they were really great.
so kind. so caring. so helpful. so thoughtful

and i love their simple life.
i love their clean and neat house.
i love every single bit of the homestay. i cant find any fault in it.

i was also very touched by them
by what they did.

- buying hamburger for clara and i on the very first day, as they were afraid that
we would be hungry on the way to their house
- preparing and cooking awesome meals for us
- asking us time and again if we are alright, if we are cold.
- bringing us to the museum and to the restaurant to have traditional japanese tea and cookie
- try to squeeze out 1 hour for us to do shopping as they know we really love to shop
- carrying those heavy groceries for our sukiyaki meal and refusing to accept our help

& there were so much more. i cant list everything out.
there were many minor things and concerns here and there that made me so grateful, feeling so lucky that i got them as my host family.

i was so touched by them that i cried on the day we have to bid goodbye
i really tried to suppress the tears, but it just flows out when i said sayonara.
i guess it was because i dont know when will i get to see them again.

but the good thing is i know their email add and their address.
im sure to mail them and keep in touch with them as they are really too awesome.

other than homestay, there are other awesome stuff.
like wearing the yukata and having very traditional jap meals.
visiting very beautiful places
and i personally love kyoto the most!

super nice. and the shops there are really the shops that im looking for.
as i really wanna buy souvenirs for my family,
for each and everyone of them.
ahahah.

& it was so cold that we ppl stand super close to one another,
trying to act like penguin and gain warm this way while we were at the platform,
waiting for japan's famous bulletin train!

and im grateful to many ppl,
like ms suryati who gave me 4 heat packs and offer me her gloves.
and Manna for warming my hands with hers as i was really cold at kyoto, plus offering me her hat.

i like such nice people!
and also many jokers around that made me laughed hard.

i will not forget chinrong's GODAI joke,
shaocong's only funny joke- power ranger transformation

START OF HOLIDAY !!!!! (:

to summarise the last week of school, i find this last week to be tiring
i dont know why, im very sleepy even though i allowed myself to sleep 1 to 2 hours
more than i usually do.
it seems to make me more sleepy tt way.
lol

but anw, on tue and wed, i went for engineering quest at NUS with some other yjcians
6 were from SG06 (:
it was overall not-too-bad.
& i totally admire engineers!

esp mechanical engineers please!
civil engineers too.

they are the super smart people.
hahahas.

but seriously, i find engineering to be tough.
it is tough studying it, and i think it is even tougher when they come out to work
so i admire those engineers for being so smart!
lol

furthermore, i went to ST kinetics.
the people there are friendly!
talked to one of the engineer and he is funny ahhh
hahah

we saw their inventions
looked and touched the guns
watched gun-firing demostation which gave me a shock due to the loudness.
lol

overall, it was good.

& the best thing about this whole quest was that they provide good food
breakfast was good
so was lunch

plus ST kinetics provide us with teabreak too.
so it was really like alot of food.
haha

in addition, im also doing cca-related stuff recently
such as the plan for open house, yearbook write up and such
furthermore, i think im bound to be involved in cvd.

is amazing how i still gg to get involve in the end.

i watched 2012 ytd. pretty spectacular and amazed with the *bomb bomb bomb!*
overall, the 2 hr plus movie is worth my $6

today, school ended at 12.40 for me.
and i headed to city square mall with mrs szetoh for the WAP thing.
she drove me there!

& we did not lost our way :DD
& i find her really kind, seriously.

so we talked to the skin pharmacy person.
her shop looks nice and big.
she seems to be quite nice too.
& is quite finalised that i will be attached there for 1 week to learn about SKIN?
hahaa

the way she put it sound really interesting.
i hope i really get to do what she mentioned just now.
plus we explored a bit on city square mall.

it gave me a very good impression.
i think i can do shopping there during my break time or sth.
hahaha.
only bad thing is it is quite far, since is at farrer park.

the week had finally ended.
the week which i had excessive association with my project work.
to tell the truth, i was practicially doing pw after i got home from tue onwards
is super sad because i cant do anything else other than sitting in front of my com,
typing away.

all of this is because WR deadline was ytd, which is friday.
and i did not slp for the whole of thur night.
this is definitely the first time in my life that i did not slp for the entire 24hrs
and because i have school on friday,
i went to count and realised i did not slp for 40hrs!

actually most of that thurs night i was cutting words
this has always been the toughest thing.
because you seem to want to include every sentence.
lol

and i believe my other sg ppl oso had the same thing,
since i see many of them still online doing pw at 4am
hahhaa

anyway. im glad wr is over.
at least most of it is over.
& chuping is great, because he help w/o complain

and he chionged for that thurs night as well.
i like this kind of effort.

HOLIDAYS!.
i welcum the 1 week of holidays :)))))))))))))

to summarise the week,
nth much happened. everyday is like any other day which is good
i like it peaceful. haha

and for today, i went for the public speaking workshop in the morning
which was really interesting and informative.
i did learnt sth. unlike the previous workshops that i have been to.
this is so much better.

after the workshop. i headed for orchard.
and after recalling the various shopping centres we have been to today,
im quite amazed with my leg power.
because we visited 6 shopping centres in a day

super cool. haha.

furthermore, i had swensen for lunch.
totally love the pasta.

which i wanted to go very much as there were alot of advertisments saying how good they are.

mon : AQ test and phy alevel spa
thurs : maths SS2 module test
fri : phys thermal class tests.

glad that its over.
and fri after school was the deadline for WR-draft.

i handed up what i have done during one of the long weekends after some editing.
ended up the number of words was 2,860
i initially thought is way away from the 3000 word limit.
hahaha

and pe nowadays has been pretty good.
had friendly frisbee match with 1 of the SG. it make me sweat like hell.
and on thurs, played handball with the girls.

handball is super fun.
esp being the goalkeeper.
